“AvAv Happy Dog”
AvAv Happy Dog is the first amusement park in Macedonia for dogs and their owners that was established as a social enterprise and is made entirely of recycled materials, which is in full accordance with our values and beliefs to be responsible towards animals, the environment and the planet in general.
AvAv Happy Dog pet center offers dog agility and training ramps, a bone-shaped pool with sprinklers to entertain your pets, a wide grassy area for off-leash play, grooming with state-of-the-art grooming cosmetics and a bakery with homemade healthy treats and ice creams.
We are creating a center where everyone will feel comfortable, experiences will be exchanged and awareness and responsibility for good dog care will be raised by owners, and especially children as future responsible dog owners.
Our Mission
The mission of AvAv Happy Dog as a company is “to improve the quality of life of dogs and permanent housing of street dogs through their temporary care, and also the creation of a pleasant space with many contents for education, entertainment and play for pets and their owners , in order “to find all the necessary products and services in one place”.
Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community where every dog will have a permanent home, every dog will be provided with basic care and the city of Skopje will be a city without street dogs and violence against animals.
Meet Our Team
Angel Bogoevski
Angel is a Technologist Engineer and has been instrumental in the establishment of AvAv Dog Center from its inception. He is a beloved friend of all dogs and holds a special place in the hearts of those who attend AvAv’s Daycare. With his abundant love, playful demeanor, and patient nature, he has a magnetic appeal to pets. He is known for his cheerful spirit, positive energy, and warm smile, making him a well-received member of the Daycare community, where every new member feels at home.
Angel’s initial approach with dogs is critical in providing them with a comfortable and specialized transportation experience. He has a keen ability to analyze each dog’s personality and takes a professional approach in introducing them to new individuals and environments, such as AvAv’s Daycare. He is dedicated to environmental protection and leads educational initiatives in this regard. Additionally, Angel’s expertise lies in creating a comfortable environment for each new puppy and in grouping them according to their character traits. Since his childhood, he has been a dedicated animal rights activist and involved in rescuing street dogs.
Nade Bogoevska
Nade possesses a Master’s degree in Strategic Communication and has demonstrated expertise in the field of marketing, with a particular emphasis on public relations, communication strategies, and social media. She embodies the characteristics of a highly motivated and successful social entrepreneur, with a well-honed organizational ability and a wealth of innovative solutions to various social challenges within the community.
With a lifelong passion for animal welfare and a tireless advocate for the rights of dogs, Nade has gained extensive hands-on experience in rescuing and caring for street dogs. She consistently participates in and spearheads numerous initiatives aimed at providing aid and support to homeless dogs.
Nade brings a deep understanding of canine behavior and psychology to the table, and through her unwavering love and patience, has emerged as a highly skilled trainer and therapist for even the most challenging and traumatized dogs. Through self-funded study trips to leading shelters and dog parks in Europe, Nade and Michaela have acquired international best practices and expertise, which they have applied to their work in Macedonia.
As co-owners of AvAv, Nade and Michaela have been recognized for their efforts and achievements, having received the SIA award for Best Social Enterprise in 2017.
Mirjana Trajkovska
Mimi, a valued member of the Avav Happy Dog professional team, is the person to whom you can entrust your beloved pet with complete confidence. With her extensive training and experience in caring for dogs, including socialization, play, and exposure to public spaces and groups, Mimi provides a nurturing and secure environment during the crucial adjustment period of your pet’s stay away from home. Her passion for animal welfare, which began at a young age through her personal efforts to care for and rehome stray dogs, is evident in the love and tenderness she extends to every pet in her care. Rest assured that your pet will be in the best of hands with Mimi.
Violeta Bogdanovska
Letka is a valued member of the AvAv Happy Dog Center team and is responsible for ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all pets upon their arrival. She is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment for each pet during their stay, with a focus on creating a cozy atmosphere that resembles their home. This includes ensuring that all necessary amenities, such as beds, pillows, and blankets, are readily available in their rooms.
Stefani Trajkovska
Stefi is a talented photographer and a valued member of the AVAV team. As a dog enthusiast and owner of two dogs herself, she brings a wealth of love and experience to her role. Her passion for helping abandoned puppies find loving homes is evident in her work, and one of her own pets has recently been adopted. With Stefi, you can be confident that your dog will receive plenty of love, playtime, and companionship while they are guests at AVAV. Furthermore, Stefi is dedicated to keeping owners connected to their beloved pets by providing daily updates in the form of photos and videos.
